Curved chest of drawers opening to two rows of drawers in marquetry of amaranth wood and satinwood decorated with polychrome flowers in a frame of green tinted wood decorated with Greeks at the corners. The sides are inlaid with bouquets of flowers.

Gilded bronze shafts and sabots.

Denis Genty, received a master's degree in 1754 and settled in the rue du Faubourg St Antoine. After his master's degree, he quickly took over the cabinetmaking furniture trade at 9 rue de l'Echelle St Honoré "à la descente des Tuileries". He went bankrupt in 1762 due to disproportionate expenses, and his business was taken over by Louis Moreau under the sign "à la petite boule blanche".
