Pierre-Jean Poitevin (1889-1933) was above all a press cartoonist, a witness to his time. But he also produced pastels and paintings, mostly of landscapes and views of Paris.
A drawing teacher, he ended his short life in Bucharest as cultural attaché to the French embassy.
